East Branch Farm, farm stand with an emphasis on Korean specialties. April - November. Route 30, south end of town, Roxbury.

Cindy’s Farm Stand, local produce, seasonally, as well as holiday crafts. Route 30, north end of town, Hubbell’s Corners, Roxbury.

Shaul Farms, enormous, seasonal farm stand, 30 minutes north. A great stop if you are going to Howe Caverns (along with Schoharie Valley Farms). 3426 Route 30, Fultonham, 30 minute drive.

Schoharie Valley Farms, also known as The Carrot Barn, a wonderful year-round indoor/outdoof farmers market. 5605 State Route 30, Schoharie. 30 minute drive north.

Solinsky’s in Stamford for real sausages and other charcuterie items. 103 Main Street, Stamford. 20 minute drive.

For local honey, nothing beats Ballard’s Honey, Route 30, Roxbury. Right in town; they have a table set out on the sidewalk.

For local maple syrup, Roxbury Mountain Maple, as well as local grass-fed beef, honey, and other local products. 750 Roxbury Mountain Road, Hobart. 5 minute drive.

For the best, hand-made soaps, stop in at Locust Grove Soap Company, 53798 State Hwy 30, Roxbury. Right in town.

If you are driving up from NYC, there are several farm stands along Route 28 between the NYS Thruway-Route 87 and Roxbury, as well as a wonderful IGA Market (grocery store) with excellent produce, meats, and basics, 4101 Route 28, Boiceville. Migliorelli Farm, 5150 State Highway 28, Mt. Tremper. Be sure to drop by Bread Alone in Boiceville (just east of the IGA) for fantastic, fresh-out-of-the oven, bread!

We can’t say enough about the wonderful food and folks at AteOAte Catering & Gourmet Food Truck. They cater a lot of weddings (including our oldest son’s)!
